Connection

Connection

As part of a daily routine since social distancing was introduced, I sent a random text or two, every day for the last 26 days to someone in my iPhone address book that I hadn’t met in a while...starting with A and working through to Z.

What happened?

I connected with friends, ex-colleagues, clients, distant family and more. Sometimes I offered help, sometimes I was offered help but mainly it was just hello and ‘how are you’. The common theme was that almost every person was delighted to ‘chat’, catch up...simply to connect. For many, the human connection itself is often just as important, or more important, than the content of the exchange...simply knowing that another human being has thought of you is enough.

Human connection is the power...even if it’s digital!

Keep connecting...the rewards work both ways.
